Chronic pelvic pain syndrome (СPPS) refers to pain of three to six months duration (or longer) that occurs below the umbilicus. СPPS is considered a form of chronic regional pain syndrome or functional somatic pain syndrome. Multimodal сollaborative and patient-centered approach is critical component of treatment for women with CPPS. The current review encompasses the сlinical manifestations and therapeutic interventions for CPPS – a yet to be defined problem.
